Dear friends & colleagues,

Continuing conversations from Psychedelic-Climate Week, we’re releasing recorded talks! We’re honored to bring you the first from our opening, “The Interconnection of Biodiversity, Indigenous Rights and Plant Medicine” with Sutton King, Urban Indigenous Collective & Julia Mande, Common Field. Their words encapsulated the spirit of the evening, reminding us that personal and collective healing are deeply intertwined — aligning our inner and outer worlds.

As we reflect on Indigenous wisdom, it's clear that reimagining our relationship with the natural world is essential, rethinking our relationships with other realms and systems, from consciousness to technology.

In this vein, we’re excited to celebrate the publication of Douglas Rushkoff’s new edition of Program or Be Programmed: Eleven Commands for the AI Future. Yesterday, I had the privilege of getting together with Doug at his publisher’s office, OR Books. Doug said, “I believe that digital technologies are, if not psychedelic themselves, they're as powerful to consciousness and society as psychedelics. What we're doing is reprogramming society, and we need to do it consciously and willfully.” I’ll be interviewing him about these topics and more—join us Nov. 3, 5-7pm in NYC or catch the livestream here.

As we navigate this rapidly evolving intersection of nature, technology, and consciousness, it’s worth considering how our inner worlds shape the external systems we build. Connected Leadership’s team penned this post for you, examining how psychedelics can expand consciousness and, in turn, reshape how leaders show up in the world, applying insights from neuroscience to social science.
